Our Huntington Beach, Pacific City location is looking for new part-time sales associates to join our team.

As a Sales Associate, you will be an integral part of the West of Camden team. Sales Associates provide outstanding customer service, meet monthly sales goals, demonstrate product knowledge, create a shopping experience that will make the customer feel welcome and comfortable and perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.50 + Commission.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist customers in all aspects of their shopping experience while providing excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate proficient knowledge of store products and services to build sales and minimize returns.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable of and perform sales support functions related to POS procedures
  • Regular, dependable attendance & punctuality

Qualifications:

Education /Experience

-No specific educational accomplishment is required, however advanced education is a plus.

-No specific experience is required, However past work in a retail environment is a plus.

Communication Skills

Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management. Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.

Mathematical Skills

Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios. Must be able to make change using American Monetary units.

Other Skills

Must enjoy meeting and interacting with customers. Must enjoy working as a team. Must be proficient with technology such a PC based computers and iPads.

Work Hours

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and busy events such as the day after Thanksgiving, special Big Event days, and the day before and after Christmas, based on store needs.

Additional:

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays

401k benefits are only available to employees 18+ years old, and to employees who have worked for the company for at least 12 months.

Commission is available to all employees after 30 days of employment.

Employee discounts are available to all employees after 30 days of employment.
